A parent from Lumakanda Township village in Lugari Sub County is calling on security agencies and members of the public to assist establish the whereabouts of his three children who went missing four days ago.
According to Mr. Samuel Salano who is a single father and a pastor with the African Divine Church, he left home on Saturday evening for an overnight Church service at Kiwanja Ndege ADC but when he returned home the following day he didn’t find his daughter and two sons identified as Elizabeth Ingadima, Meshack Kayongo and Zachariah Monyo who are aged 17, 14 and 11 years respectively.
The three children are said to have left their home in the wee hours of Sunday morning and are suspected to have been picked up by an unknown person at about 4am to an unknown destination.
The distressed father recalled how he has single handedly struggled to bring up his children after separating with his wife Rebbeca Iminza in 2009.
“The mother left when the eldest child was 7 years and the second was 4 years while the young boy was 11 months old and I have really struggled to bring them up,” said Salano.
The father says he has tried to trace his kids, including reporting the matter to security agencies, visiting or making inquiries from his near and distant relatives to no advantage.
“At first I thought their mother had a hand in the disappearance of the three but I have communicated to their grandfather, my former father in-law, who informed me that their mother is seriously ill and the family knows nothing about the disappearance,” said the father.
He is now appealing to anyone with information that can lead to tracing his three children to report to Lumakanda police station or any nearest police station or reach him through his mobile phone number 0726713586 or 0752879108.
