The late Truphena Jebitok Kobiro who was the acting county public service board secretary for Nandi, was on Friday laid to rest at his home in Lelmokwo/Ngechek ward Nandi county.
Kobiro who succumbed to Covid-19 related complications was eulogized by many as hardworking, dedicated and a great servant who worked tirelessly to transform the county government of Nandi.
Political leaders led by Nandi governor Stephen Sang eulogized her as a hard working, dedicated focused servant who did her work excellently with a lot of commitment adding that he has lost a very resourceful leader and friend.
“Truphena was a dedicated focused servant who stood to her principles” Sang said.
The governor revealed that the late had done a lot of work not only in the county government of Nandi but in Kenya ranging from the ministries of health, education, agriculture and other different dockets where she served before serving in Nandi in various Ministries also.
The late served in the county government of Nandi under the leadership of governor Sang as chief of staff, then vice county secretary before being moved to public service board where she was serving as an acting county secretary for the public service board until her demise.
The deceased has left behind two children, a boy and a girl where leaders promised to ensure they support them in their education in respect of their departed mother who worked hard and diligently to bring sanity in the county government administration.
