Aldai Member of Parliament Hon Cornelius Serem has asked the residents in the region to utilize fully Aldai Technical Institute and Vocational Educational Center by enrolling their children to the institution to get equipped with technical skills that will help them transform their livelihoods in future.
Serem revealed that the institution is a blessing and an asset to the people of Aldai thus urged them to utilize the opportunity by allowing their children join the facility and enroll in various courses that will enable them create entrepreneurship to employ themselves and also to employ others upon college completion instead of seeking jobs which have become competitive.
He added that the facility is set to resolve the economic challenges facing the young generation in the community and the nation at large therefore is proud of what the government is doing to ensure more technical and vocational training centers are set up across the country to aid the young intellectuals pursue different marketable technical courses to equip them with skills.
The legislator cited that technical courses have become more marketable in the job markets hence the incorporation of technology with skills will enhance greater innovations and self employment capacity through use of the readily available resources and urged youths to embrace it.
“The government is well focused on impacting youths with the relevant knowledge and skills for the betterment of their tomorrow,” affirmed Serem
He promised to continue supporting the institution as the area MP in ensuring infrastructure and other facilities are achieved to its standards through use of the CDF kitty.
