Kenya’s Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo Dr. George Masafu has urged Kenyans to continue adhering to the Covid-19 infection prevention regulations as laid out by the Health Ministry. His call comes even as Kenya Covid-19 positive cases hit 39,449 on Monday from 564,078 cumulative tests conducted.
Dr. Masafu has also urged Western Kenya residents to have regular cancer check ups, coupled with living healthy lives. Further, he called on all boda boda operators to adhere to traffic rules in order to maintain order on the roads. His sentiments were made after he visited and condoled with the families of the late Francis Wambilianga in Tuuti, Kanduyi constituency and the late Humphrey Wanyonyi, who was his brother, in Kimilili.
The late Wambilianga succumbed to cancer while Wanyonyi was involved in a road accident back in March. However, the Ambassador couldn’t make it to the funerals owing to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
