President William Ruto has gazetted a seven-member selection committee for the recruitment of the next Director of Public Prosecution.
In a gazette notice dated June 21, the seven include; Mary Kimonye, Shadrack Mose, Mary Adhiambo, Roseline Odede, Richard Onsongo Bush, Francis Atwoli and Twalib Mbarak.
The exercise of recruiting the DPP is meant to replace the vacant position of Noordin Haji who was appointed as the NIS boss by President Ruto.
The panel will nominate and recommend names to the President who will later nominate one name and send to the National Assembly for vetting and once approved will be appointed by the President as the DPP
