Hundreds of mourners converged at the home of Mzee Joseph Wandabwa to pay their last respect to the late Belinda Mukite Wandabwa with his family, friends and leaders eulogizing the late as industrious lady who wanted the best for the community around.

Parents led by the father to the late Joseph Wandabwa and mother Margaret Wandabwa eulogized their daughter as hard working, disciplined as well as industrious lady who wanted all the best for their family.

The two thanked all leaders, friends as well as locals for standing with them especially during these difficult times that they have undergone as it has lost three family members in a span of not less than three years calling for the community and church to pray for the family.

The late Belinda Wandabwa died in Australia last month and upon her demise was a nurse and won several recognition from Australian country as a dedicated servant who fought for good Health care of the country.

Dr. Kituyi however blamed the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta over what he claimed has not dealt with the issues affecting Western and North Rift regions in empowering the region economically.

Dr Kituyi claimed the country has been quick in borrowing from donors yet the money borrowed has not been used well in several projects especially within the regions of Western and Rift Valley claiming its playing politics especially with the revival of Mumias Sugar that he said was on knees blaming the government for not being sincere in dealing with national debt that has kept on ballooning.

Dr Kituyi said Western region has been forsaken by the government and that it was only concerned with the issues affecting other regions of the country especially tea and coffee yet cane farmer issues is not being worked upon.

“How can the government keep on borrowing money and use that monies elsewhere in reviving some stalled projects yet in our region we are given a raw deal when it comes to matters reviving factories in our region?” asked Dr Kituyi

Hospital MCA Eric Wafula also eulogized the late noting that she was honest and disciplined woman whom everyone wanted to be associated with as she didn’t shy away from telling the truth.

The MCA however appealed to locals in the area to continue observing health protocols to curb the rising cases of Corona Virus that has claimed several lives of locals in the country.
