The body of a 60 year old man was discovered decomposing in a house in Angayu village, Chekalini location, Lugari Sub County under unclear circumstances.
The deceased, Kennedy Muliande who lives alone was last seen on Thursday before his body was discovered in the house Saturday afternoon.
The body was discovered by Tyson Mulalu, a neighbor who had gone to check on him.
“I came here in the morning and tried to call him but there was no response, I went back home and returned in the afternoon and again when I called he didn’t answer. When I pushed the door it opened and I was shocked to find his lifeless body lying on the bed,” said Mulalu who later informed other residents and family members.
According to Abigael Njite the deceased had been employed by her sister to take care of the compound where he lived alone.
Family members led by Eliud Angayu and Alexander Luyali have not ruled out foul play after blood was discovered on the bed appealing for thorough investigations into the death.
The body was removed by the officers from Lumakanda police station and taken to Kimbilio mortuary in the neighbouring Uasin Gishu County as they launched investigations into the incident.
