A sorrowful mood engulfed Mutua village in Lwandeti location, Matete Sub County after the body of a 60 year old man was discovered floating on water in Lwandeti stream.
The deceased Paul Kenyatta Roman is said to have left home Thursday morning but never returned before his body was discovered by a family member in the stream.
Confirming the incident, Mabuye Sub Location Assistant Chief Mr. Kennedy Wambulwa said the body had visible injuries at the back of the head though the cause of his death has not been established.
He appealed for calmness from the family and the entire community as the investigation into the incident was launched to establish the cause of his death.
The body was removed by officers from Matete police station and taken to Webuye Sub County hospital in the neighbouring Bungoma County for postmortem to establish the cause of his death.
