The body of a young man who went missing for the last six days from Sirende village was found on Sunday by the banks of river Kabufefwe, Tongaren Constituency.
According to family members, led by Gabriel Ngera who spoke to West FM, narrated that the deceased Emmanuel Mukalama Wafula 17, who went missing six days ago had been suffering from epilepsy, a disorder in which the nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed causing seizures.
The deceased was said to have been in their farm yard before he went missing and efforts to search for him bore no fruits until when his body was later found by the banks of river Kabuyefwe.
Sirende village elder Patrick Simiyu who confirmed the incident noted that he had earlier on received reports about the missing of the deceased few days and participated in the search that was in vain until when the body was later discovered at the river.
He however advised parents to be careful with their children during this short holiday period so as to avoid such incidents in the community and teach them good morals so as to have good citizens in future.
