Bungoma County Referral Hospital is on the spot again after patients voiced complaints concerning the long queues at the hospital, delaying services in the process. Days after Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati issues appointment letters to over 100 nurses, the services offered give the impression the nurses present are very few, especially at night.
“We’ve been here for more than two hours waiting to be served but nothing is moving,” explained one of the patients, who didn’t want to be named.
During an inspection during the night hours, long queues of patients could be seen, with many patents lamenting the poor service delivery.
