Bungoma County residents have been called upon to maintain peace towards the August 9 General Elections.
Speaking to West Fm, Life In Christ Kingdom Ministries International Arch Bishop Isaac Wanyama Shiundu urged the residents to vote peacefully as voting is exercising one’s democratic right.
However, Wanyama complained against those politicians who are operating against the IEBC set rules of not campaigning during the night hours.
Bishop Wanyama urged the youths not to accept to be used by politicians to cause violence during this electioneering period as this country should remain united even after the elections. Wanyama said this after the meeting with the youths who preach peace from Bumula Sub-County.
On the other hand, Pastor John Ketch from the United States of America also wished Kenyans peaceful elections.
