Bungoma Deputy Governor, Pst. Jenepher Mbatiany on behalf of Governor Kenneth Lusaka has attended a two day workshop on private sector engagement in sanitation and menstrual hygiene management at Ciala Resort, Kisumu County.

Speaking at the function, Mbatiany expressed satisfaction with the role USAID is playing in bettering the livelihoods of the people of Western Kenya noting that the joint work plan signed recently between the County Government of Bungoma and USAID that will see Bungoma receive it’s share from the allocated 24 Million US dollars, is a game changer and huge relief to our people.

USAID Western Kenya sanitation Project is a five year intervention being implemented in Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori and Siaya Counties.
