Bungoma County Governor with his entire family is in a mourning mood after losing their brother in a tragic road accident along Kamukuywa – Chesamisi road.
Addressing the media at his home in Mapera village, Kamukuywa ward in Kimilili Constituency, Governor Lusaka said it is a trying moment for the family after losing a jovial, hardworking and enthusiastic brother after he rammed into a tractor that was coming from Chesamisi which did not have lights on as his brother was coming from Kamukuywa.
Lusaka said they rushed him to Lugulu mission hospital, but unfortunately lost him while on the way.
He mourned his brother as a friendly person who worked hard in life as an entrepreneur. “He was a steadfast person who could also bond with any person and this tragic accident has robbed us a man of the people and it’s very hard just to believe that he is gone,” Lusaka.

The County boss said the investigations are under way to establish the cause of the accident but he was quick to point out that time has come for the cane tractors to avoid ferrying sugar cane at night as this has really caused a lot of deaths in the County and other parts of the country.
“I am not just saying this because I have lost a brother but tragic road accidents caused by tractors ferrying sugar cane is alarming and we need to find a lasting solution about it and we are going to put up policies that will see no tractor is found at night, we can’t continue losing lives just like this yet we can avoid,” said Lusaka.
The body of the late Noah Sikhila Lusaka is lying in Lugulu Mission hospital as plans for burial begin.
