Bungoma County West Media Salaams clubs have been advised to utilize the funds they have been given well and in a profitable way. Speaking at Milima ward in Tongaren during the merry go round for Lukhokhwe West FM Salaams club, the County groups chairman Edward Wanyama said many groups that have stood the test of time have always been stable and focused with how they use their money and the kinds of projects they choose to invest in.
He said the stable County groups leadership will continue giving the groups the support they require so that they can realize development they need, adding that they’ll access project management officers to give proper advice to the Salaams clubs.
He praised West Media for playing a key role in makin sure they bring people together. He affirmed that they’ll be making a follow up on the groups projects to make sure money is well utilized. Lukhokhwe Salaams club chairman Mr. Charles Kigame assured the West Media groups County leadership that he will work closely with the group members to ensure that they inject money in viable projects.
Leaders who attended the function among them Ben Chekwanda advised the groups to be open, transparent and accountable when it comes to financial matters and work together as a team to win confidence of every member.
