Bungoma County Senator David Wakoli Wafula has praised the administrators of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and the Bungoma County Government for their proactive measures to enhance technical education for residents by revitalizing the Webuye campus.
Senator Wakoli expressed his gratitude to the Bungoma County Government for supporting the university with a 99-year land lease, which will facilitate the growth and development of the campus.
He urged residents, especially the youth of Bungoma County, to seize this opportunity and enroll at the university to benefit from the technical education offered.
This development comes one year after Senator Wakoli moved a motion in the Senate seeking to address concerns about the university’s inefficiency.
The senator has committed to continuing his focus on accountability and advocating for the national government to provide sufficient resources to ensure that educational issues in Bungoma County are effectively addressed.
