Bungoma Senator David Wafula Wakoli has urged the county government to take immediate steps to improve the conditions of ECD classrooms and road infrastructure in the region, following concerns raised about their impact on education and daily life in the County
Wakoli, during the official handover of three new classrooms to Wandabwa Primary School in Ndivisi Ward by Webuye East MP Martin Pepela Wanyonyi, emphasized the importance of creating a conducive learning environment for children. He highlighted that the county had received substantial funds from the National Treasury, urging the Governor to prioritize the use of these funds for educational and infrastructure improvements.
The senator also pointed out that poor road conditions in some parts of the county hinder students’ access to schools and complicate transportation for residents, calling the county government to address these issues.
Wakoli’s remarks came as he praised MP Martin Pepela Wanyonyi for his leadership in advancing educational and infrastructure projects in Webuye East Constituency. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to working together to ensure that Bungoma County experiences sustainable development, benefiting from improved education and better infrastructure.
