In a decisive display of commitment to development, Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka visited the Khalaba Bridge—a key infrastructure project connecting Khalaba Ward and West Sang’alo Ward. Addressing the crowd during the inspection, Lusaka reaffirmed his dedication to advancing the county’s progress, despite ongoing political criticisms.
“I’m focused on building a lasting legacy,” Lusaka declared. “Development is my priority, not political distractions.”
The governor highlighted significant strides under his leadership, including the transformation of Bungoma town and ongoing efforts to modernize it further.
Accompanied by Roads CECM Boniventure Chengek, Lusaka celebrated the completion of 38 new bridges and outlined plans for 19 more within the current financial year.
The Khalaba Bridge, now a pivotal link in regional connectivity, stands as a testament to the governor’s unwavering focus on improving infrastructure and fostering development across Bungoma County.
