Kigama High School Dormitory was burnt down yesternight.
In May this year, another school dormitory was burnt at the same institution.
According to the school’s principal Frank Mahasi, the cause of the fire is still unknown and there were no casualties.
“No student has been affected, they were all attending evening preps when the fire occurred,|” said the principal.
He said the fire was contained with the efforts of students, teachers and police who arrived at the scene after the incident.
“It is so regrettable that this happened in our school, we did not expect this misfortune,” added Mahasi.
Mahasi who was speaking through the phone yesternight said the police have launched investigations to establish the cause of the fire.
“We will do the estimated cost of the loss and call upon well wishers to help us,” said Mahasi.
Among the items that were razed during the 8pm fire at the boys dormitory included mattresses, blankets and other personal effects belonging to 36 students.
