Members of the Busia All In One Salaams club umbrella under West Media Limited, yesterday (Monday) met at Chamasir Location in Teso North Constituency during their usual merry–go–rounds with the intention, this time around, of ensuring they forge ahead as united as ever. The members drawn from over 49 Salaams Clubs across Busia County converged at Katelenyang village of Chamasir location where they were urged to remain united by their leaders.
Busia All in One umbrella leader Fred Kilongi reiterated the need for every group to abide by their constitutions to avoid possible misunderstanding in the future.
“In the spirit of growth within groups, I urge every new group formed to ensure it subjects their members to a two month probation period to see to it that they are serious enough before giving them a go-ahead to start saving with the group’’ He said
‘This will guard against conmen who disguise themselves as genuine members.
During the merry–go–round, the umbrella paid some school fees to three needy students from Kolanya Boys High School, Moding Secondary school, and Kabkara secondary school in Bungoma county respectively.
