Busia County Woman Representative Hon. Catherine Omanyo has faulted President Dr. William Ruto on the recent Cabinet Secretaries reshuffle terming it as disrupting the functioning of other ministries.
“The President himself is suffocating because of bad Cabinet Ministers. Let him get rid of them and ask us. We know people who can think right for our people in Kenya.” She furiously lamented.
This comes two days after President William Ruto reshuffled eight members of his Cabinet as a way to optimize performance and enhance service delivery under the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda.
What caught the eyes of many concerned Kenyans is that none of the executive members were dropped but rather assigned to a different ministry. Kenyans had expectations of seeing new faces in the Cabinet after the Head of State had accused some CS of having no idea of what goes on in their ministries.
“If somebody was not performing, they were to be demoted, taken back for training while others who understand the job perform. Kenya has smart people.”
Speaking at St Joseph’s Busia Girls Primary School at Burumba Ward in Matayos Constituency, The Busia Woman Representative also condemned the Government on the move to take security officers to Haiti while Kenya has its insecurity incidences.
“The problem that is facing Haiti is facing Kenya in double portions. Are we seeing properly?” She queried
