14 year old Caleb Nyongesa from Nasusi village in Kimilili Sub County, who scored 405 marks in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education at Roselands academy in Vihiga County is seeking urgent help from well wishers for him to be admitted at Alliance high school where he was selected to join form one.
Caleb says his mother is a single parent and has no job to enable her pay for his school fees education hence his only hope is on well wishers saying he aspires to become a doctor in future so as to help those in need in the society.
He says in primary school he was learning in an orphanage thus his education was sponsored saying the sponsors were only limited up to the primary school level. He is supposed to join alliance high school on 9th January 2017 hence the need for an urgent help.
His mother Grace Maruti says she has tried to look for help from the Constituency Development Fund as well as the ward bursary fund but it has not been successful so far as they claim they want the child to be admitted first so as to use his admission number to be given bursary.
She says it has been hard for her being a single parent to take care of her children saying she also has grandchildren she is taking care of after two of her children passed on and she had to take over the responsibility of their children.
She called upon well wishers to help her have her son admitted at Alliance high school. Caleb has always been a hard working boy and is focused on achieving his goals in life.
Her mobile phone number is +254718512556.
