Traders at Chebkube Market in Bungoma town have come forward to express their gratitude for the construction of a new market, which they say has provided them with a better environment for conducting business.
Led by their chairman, Bernard Makokha, the traders remarked that since moving into the new market, the conditions have significantly improved compared to their previous location along the roadside. They appreciate the enhanced facilities and the organized space, which they believe will positively impact their operations.
Despite the improved market environment, the traders voiced concerns over the rising cost of living, which has led to a decline in their businesses. However, they remain hopeful that with time, their situation will improve as the market continues to attract more customers, boosting their sales and livelihoods.
