Chekalini Member of County Assembly in Lugari Constituency Titus Marachi Kwomah has put on notice land grabbers in his ward.
Speaking at Chekalini Secondary School Kwomah expressed his disappointment that a group of people from the area had invaded and grabbed a section of the school land.
He warned the land grabbers to vacate the land with immediate effect or face legal action, saying the land was a public utility and it can never be taken by greedy individuals.
The MCA advised the school board of management to ensure the land was fenced according to its original boundaries.
At the same time Kwomah appealed to parents to support the school management so as to improve academic standards.
He said the school had drastically dropped in terms of academic performance and concerted efforts were required to restore its standards.
Apart from the school land, Kwomah also warned those planning to grab Chekalini Health centre land saying that they will never succeed.
