Chesumei member of parliament Hon Wilson Kogo has asked the president of the republic of Kenya his exellency Uhuru Kenyatta to consider meeting all leaders from across the country the way he has met the central leaders at Sagana so as to uphold peace and unity of Kenyans.
Speaking in one of the functions in Nandi, Kogo urged the president to hold a meeting with leaders from other regions the way he has done with the leaders from the Mount Kenya region so as not to be framed tribal leader.
Kogo insisted that the president was elected by all the Kenyans therefore, if he doesn’t meet with all the leaders from other regions, the Sagana meeting will be perceived as a tribal one.
He added that there is no need for the president to remind Kenyans that he is their president as Kenyans voted him as their president.
” We want the president to be accommodative for everybody.” He demanded. He told off the president to not leave the country more divided than he found it as he should be able to unite and accommodate every body.
Concerning the instruments of power, Kogo urged him to hand over the tools of power peacefully to the next leader when his time comes.
