Chesumei MP Wilson Kogo has said the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report still needs changes before a referendum takes place. Speaking in his constituency, Kogo said the report has sections which require corrections, adding that deputy president William Ruto during the launch of the report at Bomas raised some key issues that need to be considered, including the powers of the Senate, gender inclusivity in leadership, independence of the Judiciary among others.
He urged the public to read the report for themselves and understand it correctly before making any decisions. He added that Kenyans should be careful not to be influenced by political standpoints.
