Christians have been urged to pray for God’s servants to continue serving them diligently and according to his will.
Speaking at his home in Kholera village Matungu sub-county Kakamega County during a mass to celebrate 10 years of service since he was ordained by the Catholic Church as a priest, Fr. Edward Khaemba a priest in Australia said it was vital for Christians to pray for men of God and each other as a sign of exercising true love towards one another.

He said most men of God have wandered away from doing what is right and have geared all their energies in worldly pleasures that have no benefit in the kingdom of God.
Fr. Edward added that the only unity that can be witnessed amongst people is through praying for each other and being a brother’s keeper.
The mass that was attended by hundreds of people attracted mixed praises from priests and relatives who acknowledged the hard work and generosity from the priest that has positively impacted the society.

He also urged parents to take their children to school saying anyone who thinks that education is expensive is ignorant.
He linked education to bricks that are ready for the market saying even if they sat idle for 10 years, they will still be vital as they can be used to build. He concluded by saying that children should not be taken to school to get employed but get skills that can enable them apply in their daily lives.
