Chief Justice David Maraga has reiterated that the Judiciary has enjoyed a good working relationship with the National Police Service, particularly the office of the Inspector General. His statement was in tune with the government’s focus on a multi-agency approach to fulfilling the government’s agenda and more importantly, tackle corruption. Speaking at the swearing-in of Hillary Mutyambai as the Inspector General of Police, CJ Maraga said the relationship has come in handy in the council on the administration of justice, “Especially under logistics of the National Council on Administration of Justice which brings together all public institutions in the justice sector,” he noted.
