The construction of market stalls and a bus stage in Kimilili is set to change the face of the municipality and benefit residents. Speaking to the press, the Kimilili municipality manager John Wekesa Ndombi lauded Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati for coming up with the facelift project, in conjunction with the World Bank.
He warned conmen who are going around and collecting money from business people for unspecified market stalls charges, insisting hat construction is still underway and nobody has given permission to collect money. He said fraudsters collecting cash should be reported to the relevant authorities without delay. He also pointed out that measures have been put in lace to ensure road accidents in the constituency are dealt with.
