104 people, all Kenyans, have tested positive for the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, as the case overload reaches 4,478. This is after 2,820 samples were tested. Speaking at Afya House on Saturday, Health CAS Rashid Aman said 36 patients have recovered and have been discharged, with the number of recoveries up to 1,586. However, 2 patients have succumbed, as the number of fatalities rises to 121.
Of the new cases, Nairobi County has the highest, with 60-Langata(22), Kibra(19), Westlands(11), Starehe(3), Dagoretti North(2), Embakasi South (1), Kasarani(1) and Embakasi East(1). Mombasa County has 33 new cases-Changamwe(13), Mvita(8), Kisauni(5), Jomvu(4), Likoni(2), Nyali (1). Kilifi County has 5 cases, all from Rabai.
Busia County, which has the third highest number of cases countrywide, has 3 new cases, 2 at Matayos and 1 at Teso South. Kajiado County has 2 new cases, all at Loitokitok, Taita Taveta has 1 case, at Taveta.
