President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday confirmed 9 more positive Coronavirus cases in Kenya out of 704 tests in 24 hours, with the number of cases now at 234.
Those who have recovered so far are 53, while Coronavirus deaths are 11 so far. Around 1,000 people are still in quarantine while 156 are in isolation facilities, “Fellow Kenyans these are just not numbers, these are people, human beings,” said the President. He said the new cases are aged between 2 years and 64 years.
He added that the Coronavirus is not a respector of persons, “Coronavirus is not a respector of age, of status, of ethnicity, or race for we have seen leaders of countries infected and they’ve had to seek serious medical attention,” he said.
