The number of Covid-19 cases is 3,305. 72 patients have been discharged, bringing the number of recoveries to 1,164, while 4 people have died within the last day, the fatalities now at 96. 108,666 cumulative tests have been carried out so far.
Speaking to the press on Friday, Health CAS Rashid Aman said Nairobi County leads in new cases with 36-Kibra leading with 12. Mombasa County has 34 cases, Busia County has 12 cases, all truck drivers at the Malaba border point, Uasin Gishu has 3. Kilifi, Garissa, Kisumu, Meru, Turkana have one case each.
On the home based care program, Director of Public Health Dr. Francis Kuria has moved to assure Kenyans of its viability.
