The Ministry of Health on Saturday confirmed 105 new Coronavirus cases from 2,868 tested samples. The total Covid-19 cases in Kenya are now at 36,829, with cumulative tests rising to 514,482. Of the new cases, 83 are males while 22 are females, and all are Kenyans except 2 foreigners. The youngest is a 2-year-old while the oldest is 95-years-old.
The recoveries have increased to 23,777 after 68 more people recovered in the last 24 hours. 38 from the home based care program and 30 were discharged from various hospitals. No deaths were recorded in the same time frame.
In the Counties, the new cases are as follows; Nairobi 33, Busia 15, Mombasa 9, Bungoma 8, Kiambu, Nakuru, Bomet, Garissa and Taita Taveta 4, Kajiado, Kakamega and Kisumu 3, Machakos, Meru, Kitui and Trans Nzoia 2, Murang’a, Nyeri and Laikipia have 1 case each.
