3 more Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Kenya, up from 25. However, there has been one recovery. Speaking on Wednesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta acknowledged the panic the Covid-19 pandemic has caused in Kenya.
He has ordered a 100% tax relief for Kenyans earning a gross income of Kshs 24,000. He has also directed the reduction of the highest tax bracket from 30% to 25%. The income tax rate has also been reduced from its maximum of 30% to 25%. All these are effective 1st April.
The President has also directed that no Kenyan should be listed by the CRB with debts effective 1st April.
