Education CS Prof. George Magoha has urged parents to allow their children to do the exams in peace. Speaking in Mombasa after witnessing the distribution of exam papers in Mombasa on Tuesday morning, CS Magoha said parents shouldn’t succumb to the pressure of consulting exam experts who are out to swindle them. “Let your children do the exam in peace…you don’t have much apart from encouraging them.”
He said that this year they haven’t dealt with many fake exam papers as was the case previously, saying parents might have noticed that the papers they used to buy in past years were fake papers.
Moreover, the Education CS said there are still cases of teenage pregnancies, but they are dealing with them. He said there are some areas where cases have already been brought forward, and ambulances are on stand by should there be need for them, “This is where we fail because if parents start looking after their children as they grow up then they are able to have self control and they are able to take the stress,” he added.
