Deputy President Dr. William Ruto has decried the rising economy that has made local residents unable to cater for basic needs especially food whose price has gone up noting that he will revamp economy of this nation when elected.

The Deputy President spoke this while on a campaign tour in Cherangany Sindendet area and Saboti Kitalale area while selling his economic Bottom Up model blaming the current government over the risen inflation.

He called upon the Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga to stop blaming IEBC over what he termed as preparing to rig elections in favor of him calling upon him to instead face him on the ballot and not meddle in the affairs of an independent body as he was not equal to the task that the Commission is destined to offer credible elections to the electorates of this nation.

He promised to de-gazette the Kitalale land forest and give title deeds to locals residing in the area immediately he assumes office, promising residents that no one will chase them in the area as several of them have no title deeds.

The Kitalale farm is a government land whose the  KANU government offered to Saboat communities in the area and up to date the land has not been de-gazetted, a call leaders from the region have been calling upon leaders and government to help de-gazette the land and offer them title deeds for them to continue staying peacefully.

He promised to construct roads from Kitale-Marambach and Endebess road when he assumes office calling upon residents to embrace peaceful co-existence in the country.
