The Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) officers raided the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) offices at Upperhill, Nairobi, as the probe on the DusitD2 terror attack continues. The officers made their way into the offices on Wednesday morning and sealed off the building.
The raid is part of the trail to nab who oversaw the registration of the vehicle which was used in the Dusit complex attack weeks ago. Services were disrupted as members of the public had to wait for the brief operation to end, with no one entering or leaving the premises.
After the Dusit attack, President Uhuru Kenyatta said the government will ensure everyone who was involved in the attack, including the planning and implementing, will be apprehended, sentiments which were later revised by Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’i when he attended the funeral of a GSU officer in Taita Taveta, who was killed during the operation.
