Governor Kenneth Lusaka has told Bungoma elected leaders to each focus on their mandate and allow him to deliver for the people who entrusted him with a Gubernatorial post.
Lusaka noted with concern the clash of roles, urging the leaders to stick to their jurisdiction and accord him ample time to run his administration.
“We were all elected into office to serve in different capacities. Each one of us should stick to their respective roles.” Said Lusaka
The Governor further stated that the County Service Board is bound by the constitution to interview and select individuals on merit, and therefore, should not be interfered with.
“Allow the Public Service Board to deliver on the County Secretary position and give us a suitable candidate. Don’t interfere with the process.” He reiterated.
