Deputy President William Ruto has urged NASA leaders to brace for another heavy defeat in the October fresh polls, saying Jubilee will win by a landslide. DP Ruto, while addressing Jubilee supporters in Vihiga County when he paid a courtesy call to former Vihiga MP Yusuf Chanzu said Jubilee is prepared to face NASA.
He asked NASA led by their presidential candidate Raila Odinga to focus on their campaigns and stop the high octane narratives of demonstrations and threats. “Jubilee is ready to face NASA in the ballot on 26th of October. We are telling them to brace themselves for a defeat and am advising them to prepare to face us on the ballot instead of issuing conditions,” said Ruto.
The Deputy President asked Vihiga residents to turn out in large numbers and vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta. He said Vihiga stands to benefit from the Jubilee government. He asked them to ignore those leaders who are out to divide them on their political grounds saying such leaders have nothing to offer them.

He said Vihiga has been the victim of tribal politics and asked the electorate to work with the ruling government for them to realize development. “I appeal to my people of Vihiga to turn out in large numbers and vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta. Jubilee government has more room for Vihiga County and more development will come here. The NASA leaders have nothing to offer you because all the time they have been in leadership they have nothing to show,” said Ruto.
DP Ruto, who was accompanied by Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka, and Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, said Jubilee has taken over the Western regions and it will reap more votes.
Former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga, Eng. Josephat Amadi and Chanzu promised to deliver over 100,000 votes for Jubilee. They accused ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi of misleading Vihiga residents. “Mudavadi has failed the people of Vihiga politically. He sold his NASA docket to strangers instead of using it to contest for the presidency. We are going to teach him a political lesson by delivering over 100,000 votes for President Uhuru Kenyatta in his home turf,” said Akaranga.
