The 2017 Primary Schools’ Rift Valley regional drama festival has kicked off smoothly in Nandi. Speaking after the official opening of the festival at St Peters Hall in Kapsabet, the Deputy Regional coordinator of Education in Rift valley region Mrs Esther Muiru applauded the efforts of all the officials from the region who made sure the event planning was successful.
Muiru cited that the efforts were successful because of teamwork, and she urged the officials to maintain the same tempo.
This year’s drama festival theme is ‘Enhancing National values for development.’ The drama festival items range from plays, narratives, chorals, cultural and modern dances.
On the other hand, the QASO Nandi county Mr Arita Bwana who is the host, called upon teachers who accompanied the pupils to the event to take good care of them without negligence and uphold high standards of integrity till the end of the festival.
