Emgwen Member of Parliament Hon Alex Kosgey has launched a Wi-fi hot spots connection in Tindiret constituency and it’s environs.
Speaking during the official launch exercise at Maraba trading centers in Tindiret constituency Kosgey revealed that he saw it good to start such a project for the benefits of the public.
“I learnt the idea from my friend and I saw it good to connect my constituency to Wi-fi in order to serve the public, especially the business community.” He affirmed
The legislator who is vying for the senatorial post in August polls cited that Wi-fi hot spots is a very important internet access points that allows one to connect to a Wi-fi network using either a smart phone or another device while away from home or office network thus will ease communication and online businesses for business people.
He added that he is in a process of connecting such many points across Nandi so as to make everybody accessible to internet thus is committed in fulfilling the project very soon.
The MP also launched the project in Himaki trading center in Nandi hills constituency, a place that is regarded as the business hub for Nandi county.
A section of the business people who spoke to West Media, lauded the efforts of the legislator saying as business community, they will be able to access the internet 24/7 and this will aid them in conducting the online businesses.
