Emgwen member of parliament Hon Alexander Kimutai Kigen has come out strongly and defended the hustler nation slogan connected to the allys of the deputy president William Ruto saying it is not about the class warfare but about the unity of Kenyans.
Speaking in his constituency office during the dispersment of cheques meant for the development of schools infrastructure, Kosgey cited that the slogan is about uniting all Kenyans and uplifting them economically irrespective of their race.
The legislator said the narrative is aimed at empowering and encouraging Kenyans to uplift themselves economically and transform their lives dismissing claims of promoting class warfare.
“We need to think on how we can change and transform our lives economically and that will be a good move for all of us” He added.Hon. Kigen revealed that the hustler nation is about empowering people not about tribal politics and that it has build bridges across the country irrespective of where the people come from and as leaders will rally behind the deputy president. The legislator lauded his constituents for standing and believing in him as their MP saying he will fulfill all the promises he had made in his manifesto for the betterment of his people.
“I will fulfill all the pledges i had made to you during the prior elections and i promise to work with you all for the betterment and prosperity of my constituency” He sighed.
The Mp despite his technical appearance in the constituency has been working tirelessly to ensure his constituents needs are catered for including bursaries for the lesser and infrastructural development funds for schools amongst others.
