Eric Theuri is the new President of Law Society of Kenya (LSK) after winning in the elections that were held on Thursday 10th March, 2022.
Theuri is taking over from Nelson Havi who is eyeing Westland parliamentary seat in Nairobi County who held the position from February 2020.
The new LSK President who got 1181 votes and won against Caroline Kamende who was the Vice President who got 1085 votes will hold the position for two years.
Others who contested for the seat were; chairman of Coast branch Mathew Nyabena, former LSK council member Omwanza Ombati and Benard Kipkoech who was at one time the treasurer of the society.
Faith Odhiambo was elected as the vice president and Jacqueline Ingutiah was too elected as a female representative in the Judicial Service Commission.
