Communication Authority of Kenya Director General Ezra Chiloba has been suspended.
Chiloba was suspended via an internal memo by the Board Chair Mary Mungai as Christopher Wambui has been appointed in the acting capacity.
Chiloba was appointed in 2021 following the retirement of Francis Wangusi.
He was supposed to serve in the docket for a renewable period of four years according to his appointment letter.
Before his appointment as the Director General of CA, Chiloba had been suspended as the Chief Executive Officer at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC in 2018.
