The family of the acting chief of Amagoro location in Teso North Sub County of Busia County has got a sigh of relief after their son who reportedly went missing for close to a month now, was found by a good samaritan on Wednesday morning in the neighboring country, Uganda.
Elijah Ekaroro (12) who is a stammerer reportedly went missing from their home on the 16th of April 2021 and efforts to locate him had proved futile until today.
His father and acting Amagoro location chief Daniel Otwani and his entire family had spent sleepless nights trying to find him.
‘” Our Lord is great my friends. I am over elated to reunite with my son…I have been in a dark world trying to find him” The visibly excited father said, tears rolling down his cheeks.
He went on, ” I had camped in Tororo for three days trying to look for my son following reports that he had been seen around the town.
Miraculously and coincidentally my village elder who had also travelled to Tororo for fish accompanied the good Samaritan to my home with my son.” he said in total disbelief
He thanked everyone, Including West Fm, for the efforts they put in ensuring his son was found.
