Football Kenya Federation on Thursday is conductied its countrywide elections.
In this process, the delegates across the counties are expected to elect a women representative, the branch secretary and the branch chair.
In Bungoma County, the voting was held at the Bungoma members club.
The voting commenced at 9:00 am without any delays.
It should be noted that this election will determine the management of football Kenya for the next four years.
In the women’s representative race, incumbent women representative Jacinta Machasio faces off with youthful Neddy Kutsuru.
In the secretary race, Elias Kuloba, Alfred Makokha, Ezekiel Murani and Ronald Mugera will face off.
The seat was left vacant after Caleb Amwayi left to battle out at the NEC Western region, he served for two terms.
In the chairman slot, the incumbent Dennis Simiyu Nyongesa aims to defend his seat against former chair Moses Kubai.
Dennis took up this position after the death of his predecessor Eric Makokha who passed away due to a short illness.
Dennis who was by then the deputy was sworn in as the chair of FKF Bungoma branch to date.
So far the treasurer, Moses Sichenje has been crowned unopposed.
Bungoma has a total of 32 verified voters who will take part in the process.
The voting goes on across all counties apart from Baringo, Kirinyaga, Makueni and Tharaka Nithi counties where all candidates are running unopposed.
