As the country continue to witness the creation of more political factions ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Ford Kenya Party has made it clear that it has no plan to fold the Simba party with the intention of joining the ruling party UDA.
Speaking to the press at Ford Kenya Party headquarters in Nairobi on Wednesday, majority of members who are aligned with the party mphasized the issue of of not folding the party led by the Part’s General Secretary John Chikati of Tongaren and the party’s Deputy Party leader who is also the governor of Bungoma Ken Lusaka. They stressed that the party which is the oldest in this country can never be disrupted in any such way.
The leaders made it clear that they will continue to build political alliance with like-minded parties but will not disrupt their party while they embrace the competition in the wide government founded by President William Ruto after involving the leaders of opponent party of ODM in his government.
The party also commended the success that the government of Kenya under the leadership of President William Ruto has achieved in two years. The party leadership also announced the continuation of general registration of members and the change of the party’s face ahead of the next general election in 2027.
