FORD – Kenya party management under the leadership of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has resolved to support the working partnership between its leader, his ANC counterpart, Wiper democratic movement, and KANU towards and beyond 2022.
In a statement after the party management’s in-door meeting at KICC on Wednesday,
FORD-Kenya appreciated the support it received from KANU party leaders Gideon Moi, ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi, and Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka in the just concluded Kabuchai by-election, in which its candidate Joseph Majibo Malasinga won the parliamentary seat. The party also acknowledged support for His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta in the by-election.
“In the same manner, the party congratulates the ANC party for winning Matungu by-election through Hon. Peter Oscar Nabulindo and it reiterates its unequivocal support for Wiper’s Agnes Kavindu in the forthcoming Machakos County senatorial by-election on 18th of march,” read the statement.
In the meeting also, the management agreed that FORD-Kenya through its nationwide branches, will spearhead BBI campaigns and the forthcoming referendum on constitutional amendments and that the national recruitment drive for party members and party popularization will start at dates to be announced later.
