Four people; a man and three women in Canan village, Kamukuywa location in Kimilili Constituency are confirmed dead after allegedly drinking poisoned alcohol.
According to the eye witness, the four are said to have drunk alcohol and started complaining of stomach ache as the three died while receiving treatment in a private hospital at Kamukuywa, then one who was the brewer died while she was being rushed to hospital.
Confirming the incident, Benard Wafula Lubano, the village elder has said with the help of the area residents they have began an operation of searching for other victims adding that already ten people have been rushed to Kimilili Sub County hospital as they were complaining of stomach ache and being dizzy.
