Federal Party of Kenya (FPK) leader Andrew Kutitila has revealed the party has resolved to work with Jubilee government to help deliver the Big Four Agenda. Addressing the press in Nairobi on Wednesday after the the party’s National Executive Committee meeting, Kutitila affirmed the party’s support for the now popular handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, adding that the party’s NEC had resolved to roll out the program of opening County offices countrywide, starting with Trans Nzoia and Bungoma Counties.
He said the benefit of the handshake has become evident, “Because, after the handshake, we’ve seen plenty of peace,” he said, “People are now freely mingling from one place to another.” He said previously they supported NASA, and now that ODM has crossed already, they’ve also decided to support the government to ensure the Kenyan people realize devolution.
The FPK leader said they’ll take the handshake to the village and engage other parties and focus on ensuring development is realized on the ground. On the war against corruption, he said the party fully supports the government, affirming that the property of Kenyans isn’t meant to be misused by few people.
