The prices of Kerosene, Super Petrol and Diesel have increased, killing a satisfied tone for motorists and Kenyans in general. The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has set the new prices, active from March 15th to April 14th 2019. ERC announced that the price of Kerosene has increased from Kshs 2.96 per litre, Super Petrol by Kshs 1.26 per litre, and Diesel by Kshs 0.65. Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 101.35, Kshs 96.61 and Kshs 99.46 in Nairobi.

In Kapenguria, Super Petrol retails at Kshs 103.56, Diesel retails at Kshs 99.01 per litre and Kerosene Kshs 101.84 per litre. In Malaba, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs 104.02 per litre, Diesel at Kshs 99.46 per litre and Kerosene at Kshs 102.30 per litre.
